Brittan Spence, Women's Soccer Coach at The University of Tampa and and Instructional Designer.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Currently lives in Tampa, Florida.

Brittan graduated from The University of Tampa with a Bachelor's Degree in Science of Arts. She studied Psychology with a focus on early childhood development and education.

After graduation, Brittan had the opportunity to become a Head Teacher of her own classroom at Primrose School of South Tampa. Here she learned how to manage a large-size classroom of young 4-year-old individuals. She also learned how to develop as well as carry-out curriculum. Brittan worked at Primrose from March 2014- August 2014. After teaching, Brittan had the privilege to be accepted and named the Assistant Women's Soccer Coach at The University of Tampa. Her Alma mater. She currently manages a large-size team of 30 individuals, ages 18 to 22-year-old. She works on leadership as well as motivational skills daily with her players. She also builds/organizes and carries out sessions, practices, and games. Academically Brittan is in charge of the team's eligibility. She meets with her players weekly and examines their performance not only on the field but in the classroom. She helps organize an agenda as well as weekly/monthly calendars to help better her player's organizational skills. She also helps map out a 4-year plan for degree completion and on-time graduation. With Brittan's experience in the classroom as well as within academics as a mentor, using her experience from the IDT program she see's herself being able to use her knowledge and being able to produce a 4 year career after athletics program. With the skills Brittan developed by taking ​EME 612- Media for Instruction, EME 641- Management of Instructional Development, EME 606- Design Online Collaborative Learning, and EME 630- Develop Multimedia Instruction. 

Along with coaching Brittan was enrolled in the M.S. Instructional Design and Technology program at The university of Tampa. She began the program May of 2017 and completed the program December 2019. While continuing her education in the IDT program Brittan earned herself a spot in the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Roll Chapter.
